Accutane for Mild Acne or Stick with Retinol?

Considering using Accutane (specifically a low dosage like 20mg) to improve my skin, but I don’t have severe acne—just occasional breakouts and some light scarring. Is Accutane really necessary for mild acne, or would retinol be sufficient? Looking for opinions on whether Accutane is worth the risk or if retinol will do the job just as well.

Trust me bro, just do it. The only regret I have is not hopping on sooner. I did a full 6 month course then took a break for a few months, and now im on a micro-dose of 20mg twice weekly to have clear ass skin. Wish my parents let me do it sooner cuz I couldve saved hundreds of dollars in acne scar treatments. My scarring isn’t bad at all but it definitely bothers me even still.
