I have an appointment for accutane, i dont have crazy acne but just oily skin, shit texture and breakouts that get annoying. Im afraid of being denied accutane for these reasons, if anyone has a similar experience i would like to hear

Definitely not getting prescribed accutane without acne lmao. Furthermore, even with acne you wouldn't get prescribed accutane immediately. They start you on cope medication first like Benzoyl Peroxide. If you had acne, you would have to get through like 4 or 5 cope meds before they prescribe accutane.

ive tried trent, benzoyl peroxide, chemical exfoliants nothing makes any difference and i didnt mean i dont have acne, def do just not like the usual accutane candidate

I told them I had some online dorm and tried retinol, tretinoin, a retinoid, and some other things cause I got a list up of all possible acne meds, then they still put me on this other thing, I tried it didn't work went back they started talking about some other topical so I gave up and just got accutane myself

it depends how many times you have been to the derm, they will most likely start with cope ass adapalene or some other bullshit first. You could try to tell them that you have tried everything and it hasn't worked, also say that your acne lowers your self esteem and makes you insecure.

Before you get Acutane, they will probably make you try loads of topicals. Bloodwork is also required.

Yeah no shit, i was actually on accutane but for only 3 months and on a very low dose i think. My acne kinda cleared but im still getting hella acne afterwards. Prob due to using a low dose for a little time. And mf was scamming me by selling that shit for 5 bucks each pill
