Going on 20-30mg Accutane soon, if anyone has done blood work before & after how much has it affected your lipid profile?

If this should be a worry can I just manage it with Omega 3. I was thinking of taking Pitavastatin because recently I have stopped taking reta for now so i need a replacement.

Oh also if anyone knows something better for regulating lipids lmk

I was on it twice and it didn't fix my acne at all jfl, the purges were horrible and my hair shed like crazy. It works great for most people tho so I don't want to worry you, my lipid profile was actually better after than before so it didn't mess my liver. I'd take it with an antihistaminic at first to avoid purging and also take it with fatty foods, you can supplement Omega-3 if you feel like it, i strongly recommend it, good luck.

What dose were you on and was it personally prescribed?

my acne is mild rn, i want to do 20-30mg for 6.5 months

Also the hair loss isn’t a super common side effect but can’t it be minimized by applying something like argan oil and right supplementation?

Here’s my entire stack for accutane
Spoon of Peanut butter
Loratadine 10mg
Pitavastatin 2mg
Omega 3 ‘s 1280mg
NAC 1200mg
CoQ10 200

Also i’m already on 6 IU hgh + 2.5mg GHK-Cu + zinc

Looks solid tbh, yes, it was prescribed to me by a dermatologist on both times and I had to do all the blood test things every some months and what not, I was on 30mg for like 9 months the first time and 20mg for 9 months again on the second time, my skin was good while on it and the following 5/6 months, but it always came back, I guess it doesn't work for everyone, it being a total cure is complete bullshit
