im planning to use accutane, tretinoin 0.1 and hydrocortisone(desonide which its stronger than hydrocortisone 1%) at the same time for nose shrinking, should I do it or it's overkill? i'm thinking that i shouldn't use accutane and tretinoin at the same time since they are basically the same thing but accutane its stronger

You are just straight up stupid if you do this, accutane is enough and good luck not getting perioral dermatitis or tsw from hydrocortisone

there is no study that says you are getting perioral dermatitis from hydrocortisone and i dont plan on stopping hydrocortisone till i get a rhino so no tsw for sure 😁😁 and also only a small group of people get stw and its not like its forever, especially if you use it only on the tip of the nose.

OK you seem to think you know it all, so no point in arguing, but I wish you good luck! Topical steroids are known to induce perioral dermatitis, there is no point in making a study specifically to hydrocortisone since it's a topical steroid as well! Accutane is enough and also using tret 0,1% is overkill, but you do you

yes, I agree with you that you shouldn't use hydrocortisone if you have perioral dermatitis as it can make it worse, but using hydrocortisone without having will not cause it to appear, or i didnt saw any article about it, only that it can make it worse. and thanks for the tip, i wont use tret with accutane, i thought its a dumb move, that's why i wanted to ask before doing it

I'd never touch a topical steroid for over a month

those are the results btw, i've been using tretinoin and hydrocortisone for less than a week, i feel like its been reduced with like 10-15% especially at the very tip of it but idk you tell me, it might be placebo but i dont think so, i keep looking at it and it seems smaller for good (im peeling because of tret)

accutane does nothing here.

it cleans your nose of pores and oils which make it look bigger, just like accutane but less effective
I should probably get accutane then. But with all the supplements I take I’m probably gonna fuck up my kidneys
