Accutane

I been on accutane for around 4 1/2 months and it’s still pretty bad, it’s been a lot better since the start but so far I been on 20 mg - September -30 October - 40 November - 40 December - 40 January -40. I was wondering if I should go to 60 mgs for February and march and stop my course at April. I don’t have active acne as of right now but I want to reach my cumulative dose so it never comes back + get rid of my acne in general.
lmk your thoughts.

if it was severe to begin with, a higher dose would have made sense. if you're tolerating the sides well then you should bump the dose and try to hit cumulative dose

Thank you, my side affects been very light, so I’ll try and go on 60 mgs these next 2 months, do you know if higher mgs help dark spots also?
