Thinking about starting isotretinoin 20 mg. I know I should get bloodwork first, but I honestly can’t be bothered. How bad of an idea is it to just start anyway?

ps: if doctor doesnt want to prescribe you accutane then you dont have a reason to use it, it's pretty easy to get from dermatologist if your acne is truly bad

You don’t really need bloodwork. Get it done if you start experiencing weird symptoms like yellow eyes, which won’t happen at 20mg. It’s not a bad idea to start accutane.

It’s not as bad as a few months ago. I spent quite some time on tretinoin, but I have really large pores and I’d also like to reduce the size of my nose. I still have acne, but there’s no way it’s going away with anything, I have no other choice

Just take the accutane dude 2026 and we're still asking these stupid questions, accutane is overly fear mongered especially for the bloodwork/liver stress side. Did bloods and they said my liver and trigylcerides were perfect.

If ur scared just use nac+ala

Also the nose reduction is only going to happen if the nose is swelling due to sebum which isn't a guarantee.

Too much low iq people in here will come do it and be like "Omg accutane doesn't do shit for the nose" when it's purely case dependent.
