Acne issues

How serious is this acne? And how do i deal with it ive been doing a simple cleanser moisturizer skin routine for a couple months and it hasnt helped, my dermatologist prescribed me epiduo which im not sure how effective it will be

Your options:

Accutane: deals with acne in 99% of cases. Takes 3-6 months and usually gone for good. Downsides: Can have side effects. Some side effects more common than others. But it's the best treatment for getting rid of it for good.

Tretinoin: Works but takes time. Might take 8-12 months to fully clear up your skin. Have to be consistent with it and keep a good diet. Eliminate any trigger foods you might have

Benzoyl peroxide: This is epiduo. It's a first line treatment every doctor/dermatologist gives to patients. Doctors don't just start you on the nuclear shit like Accutane immediately. They take you slowly through all these cope meds. But who knows it might work for you

Ah, thank you for the explanation. Hopefully epiduo will do it, but is this acne severe or commonly found in teens?
