This has been a bumpy Journey with many different acne medications (commercial and prescribed medication). I want to share this to tell people what works and what doesn't work. I will simply tell you now.

COMMERCIAL MEDICATIONS DON'T WORK FOR HORMONAL ACNE

I have tried many products bought obline and none of them work. They just cost money.
Go to your local doctor and ask them for advice. DOCTORS KNOW MORE THAN YOUR LOOKSMAXXING INFLUENCERS ONLINE.
They will tell you what you need and instructions for what you are getting. If your product doesn't work they will give you a stronger one. It is like a laddar of medications going from the weakest to strongest. Now some of you may live in countries like i do where they are quite careful giving out stronger medications like isotretonin (accutane) So you will have to wait a good while before getting it and visit many appointments or online meetings. Yes it sucks, but it is what you are gonna have to do. Now some of you might get accutane the first visit you do but that is not common im most places around the world.

What have I tried from doctors
benzoyl peroxide 10% (Acne looked less aggressiv but did not dissapear and caused my skin to get dry.)
Finacea (Same as benzoyl)
Epiduo (Decreased the acne a little bit but causef my skin to get very dry, would not recommend in cold climates)
Acnatac gel, mix of Tretinoin and Clindamycin ( Worked extraordinary and cleared most of my acne on my skin.)
Acnatac is what I am currently using.
I have my hopes of getting isotretonin (accutane) prescribed from a dermatologist since my acne isnt all gone but since I live in Sweden It is hard to get a hold of.

My take: Please stop wasting money on all these products for commercial sale they wont to good enough. Go to a doctor instead.

Epiduo will be a temporary fix, i've been on that and antibiotics. They worked for a little while before acne came back

well temporary fix is good because after that its almost summer and then its easy to clear the skin up

Why would it be easy then?
sunlight helps with skin health alot, also a good tan will cover up the redness alot, also i use this one supplement with beta carotene, lycopene etc and it works like a charm. didnt have any pimples last summer

Accutane is the only thing that will really get rid of your acne. Though is it still temporary since you can't take accutane all your life, but of course the acne will also probably fade away with age. Tret works great too but it will never compare to the skin accutane gives you. There is a reason it comes with a lot of side effects as well. Good luck though bro!
