For some, tretinoin might be more than enough but for people who struggle with Acne, adding an active ingredient to use in conjunction with tretinoin might be smart to avoid disappointment and frustration.

Possible combinations:
- Azelaic acid (antibacterial properties, anti inflammation, exfoliating and more)
--> preferred over Benzoyl peroxide (especially when using tretinoin)
--> the gel is cosmetically more elegant

- Clindamycin (Antibiotic)
--> con: risk of developing antibiotic resistanc

Other random info:
- Use enough/ good moisturizer to not suffer from dryness

- most OTC products don't do much from my personal experience. Get prescription strength skincare (tretinoin, azelaic acid 15-20%)

- if anyone cares and I'm bored enough I can do a full skincare thread (comment if the interest is there)

Most stronger moisturizers are only good for the evening because they don't look that great or are too heavy.

Maybe look for something with urea in it.
Some people swear by Aquaphor: you can use it as your pm moisturizer or just apply it on top of your normal moisturizer to seal it in.

The dermatologist I went to prescribed me a clindamycin phosphate and Zinc Acetate cream.
Any opinion you have about that bro??
