Until now, it was believed that in order to activate the metabolism of biological cells, including cartilage, it is necessary to improve their blood supply. But modern authors claim
that the body can have a stimulating effect on chondrocytes other factors than cellular-humoral, the nature of which is specified. The experiments performed suggest that the elastic cartilage of the auricles can show the ability to regenerate under conditions of trophic disturbance, depending on whether it was near single crystals of semiconductors, materials capable of converting electromagnetic waves
