all the shitty texture is gone and my skin is smoother than last time, it has also made my skin giga tight and it kinda stings (i apply moisturiser alot).
Overall it has been a success so far going to delay the use of tret for another 2 weeks.

hmmhm i might go to me derm, might also ask finastride

How much did it cost?

wont fin kill your dht?
Yea its a dht inhibitor, the dht reduction is the main reason why its work so well

The side effects of reducing dht at 18+ is not that harmfull, overrated
You should check the youtube channel haircafe, he explains it very well

isn't adapalene is tret but much weaker it's from the same family of tret I used it, it didn't do much to me but that just because i''m an impatient bitch lol, but it didn't give me the results I wanted so I hoped on tret 0.025%

I just applied adapalene (Epiduo Forte) after reading this thread, I always thought it's far less effective than tret, so I lost interest in everything other than accutane/tret but let's see what happens.

did jew derm give epiduo?

Epiduo raped my face, made putting a mosituriser on giga sting and my skin peeled off so much and a huge cyst appeared on my cheek (4cm in length). Also when i went out in the sun i vot skin irritation even though i caked my face with 50spf+

you might jus have to thug it out, look into skin barrier restoration and slugging, after 4 weeks of only light cleasnser and moisturiser and slugging w vaseline only, you can start with minimal dose tret

Alright this convinced me. Did you have any dark spots or red spots that went away after using adapalene?
didnt use for long enough but it did work, cba to wait and jus hopped on tret. you can try it but i would jus go for lower dose tret or tazarotene

It’s probably more effective for getting rid of acne than tret, but the main reason why people use tret is for the collagen benefits and anti-aging

Also the tightness is from your skin being dry, I’d recommend changing moisturiser. I personally recommend the Vanicream products
