ADHD Meds and voices

I dont know if you can classify them as voices, imaginary friends or intrusive thoughts, though i will just refer to them as "voices".

Today morning I took 27 mg of concerta and as usual it made the voices disappear. At first they were screaming at me cuz they hate it when i take meds and then they were gone and supressed.

Why do my adhd meds make them go away? It doesnt really make sense, since adhd meds cause more dopamine to be in your brain and high dopamine levels usually trigger psychosis or voices etc. but for me it does just the opposite? It doesnt make sense.

There isint any studies on stopping inner monologue but there are studies on adhd meds making ur head quieter maybe that has smthn to do with it. Plus the increased risk of psychosis is an extremely rare case scenario

tbh if u take them when u wake up the duration will be gone before evening
