I want to win some strong motherfuckers I know. I'm decent but they are better genetically so I need to work harder, do you guys have advice or training routine I can use for armwrestlingmax?

Work on arms and eat lots of protein

Watch some bones breaks while arm wrestling and you won't do that useless shit.

I've been armwrestling since 2018. And actually competed in a tournament before. If your using no technique then arm length is all that matters. Literally just long forearms and big hands.

But if using technique <

Then short arm = learn the Hook technique.

Long arm = Toproll technique

Its much more complicated than that though as you see people with short forearms toprolling aswell but just a different style of it called posting style toproll.

Some fast tips - grab higher on to your opponents thumb. And try to make them grab you lower. Height is everything. That's why forearm length matters EVEN MORE SO WHEN YOU KNOW LITTLE TECHNIQUE.

Some YouTubers I'd suggest you watch are Todd Hutchings if you have a short arm

Armwrestling201 is also very good

This guy is Levan saginashvili. He's the best armwrestler since 2019. He took massive amounts of Hgh to make his hand and wrists thicker. Genetics matter so much in armwrestling. But it's not everything.

He not only is big but his technique is amazing too especially for a big guy.

But weight classes exist for a reason.

Great advice. But you cant compare a normal human with Todd Hutchings. This guy is built like a tank, and he basically just relies on his insane bone strength with side pressure.

Todd Hutchings started at 34. So you really can. I'm assuming this guy's a teenager. This sport is evolving. I literally know what Todd Hutchings knows since I was 17. Now I'm 19 with his knowledge just because he has a YouTube channel and I learned from him. Todd Hutchings isn't special he's just been training for 20 years so he SHOULD be strong.

Side pressure is super important when hooking

He has pretty big hands and wrists for example. You can't really grow those.

Anyways, have you done some of the exercises Todd hutchings is doing? For example the side pressure exercise he does with a pulley. If I remember correctly he did something around close to 60kg.

What about toprolling with a towel wrapped around your thumb, rising, cupping with a pulley etc. What are your stats in those exercises? You're saying you're competeing, I want to know how strong I am compared to the general population.

This one is pretty famous as well, although he suggests not training that exercise

I think I've done that with close to 35kg jfl. Which felt insanely heavy. It's crazy how strong they are, but I would assume at national level (not US or Russia), and in lower weight classes they are nowhere near this level of strength.

I only did one competition. Not like im a pro or anything. Wrist curl 44kg, pronation 34kg, rise 20kg. Side pressure - i dont have a pulley so i just use bands. Back pressure is around 40. Height 5ft10.5 Weight 90kg. + Todd hutchings has small hands for the SHW division. even the heavy weights. I think i could preacher curl (just a guess) around 40s.

He has small hands compared to genetic freaks who weigh 100kg+ lean. But he would wrist mog the average looksmax.org twink to death.

Let's say you're armwrestling against 100 random guys in their 20s and 30s. How many would you beat?

Btw preacher curl 40kg per side would be 80kg total and that is international elite level. If you meant to go all the way down like a normal preacher curl. I think devon laratt did a biceps curl with 90kg max, larray wheels 95kg or so. You would be able to beat both of them I think, because 80kg preacher curl is way stronger than 80kg normal curl

I can preacher curl (half range of motion like devon larratt hook training 1 and 2 video) around 40s im guessing. Not strict bicep curl :d. I could beat 99.9% of the population in an armwrestling match no matter the age, this is because ive been armwrestling for 4.5 years, its sort of like asking a boxer if there was 100 random guys how much could you beat. With 0 technique that number reduces to like 80%. Just because without hooking i cant compete for shit. i am same height as todd with the same arm length. Without technique arm length is all that matters (unfortunate for me :D)

the 0.01% of popiulation i cant beat are people like Khaled

I would do a hybrid calisthenics and armwrestling workout .
You can train arms all you want but if your chest ,lats and shoulders dont grow you wont beat anyone .

In the hook training 2 video, he uses zero range of motion. He just follows with his body and doesnt open his arm. Also it is quite different to a preacher curl because he angles his body, such that the majority of the force acts perpendicular to his upper arm. Basically like side pressure, which is more about tendon and bone strength than biceps strength.

Yeah i know. i think thats good because in armwrestling you want to be tight, close to your arm as possible.

I feel like majority of the population views the hook as a respectable technique, because it is all about raw power. Where as if you would toproll a random guy on the street he would probably feel cheated

Thats so true, if you toproll someone they will notice their wrist bending back and say your cheating. I agree with you. Hookers definitely get more respect.

Then short arm = learn the Hook technique.

Long arm = Toproll technique
As far as I understand, if you are tall you are more likely to have long arms, right? Opposite for short men.
Hookers definitely get more respect.
In case my arms are long (I see toproll technique is not "dependable" at all because the cheating thing) would I still get good results if I practice the hook technique?
