The woman's maxilla is average but her teeth protrude far out which gives her those typical "nigga" lips and a recessed chin, Barrett's maxilla on the other hand is actually (debatebly) perfect in regards of forward growth, thus his chin really isn't that recessed (a bit is given with so much forwardgrowth) but his cheekbones and orbitals are on level with his lower maxilla

its a lot of complicated things but basically
too much forward growth at lower maxilla vs upper maxilla (u can still have prognathism with a recessed maxilla)
nose is smaller/shorter in nonwhites (asians and blacks) on average by a few mms so mouth seems to protrude more
also nonwhites have less chin projections (blacks especially usually have weak chins)
this causes a protrusive look rather than just forward growth

a small amount of prognathism is actually ideal, but u need the chin projection and upper maxilla to match with it otherwise it looks like shit

if u have a small amount of prognathism (not too much) and both of your jaws aren't recessed - that's enough to give that "forward grown" look
(this is basically what lefort 1 tries to recreate)
whites often completely lack any prognathism so that's why they often have completely flat maxillas and bad nasolabial folds

but if you gave barrett the proganthism while retaining the growth he has he would be even more forward
