After gaining some fat i look worse but also better in some way

My face looks bloated yea but for some reason my eye area looks better and skin looks smoother and cleaner. Is it because fat is going into my undereyes I guess?

It definitely did, my face looks noticeably fatter but my eye area and skin ascended
