nofap increases your executive function, which is basically the desire to do productive shit because cooming cost physical and brain power and semen has alot of nutrients etc so it's like conserving sexual energy and libido to make it grow so it can spread into other things like socialising studying exercising etc probably a subconscious way of the brain realizing oh shit we are not getting sex, we ain't getting sex so we must step up our game in order to be successful at passing on our genes. Masturbation and cooming probably reduces that urge giving you a false sense of contentment, your brain is probably growing complacent and stagnant because it think it's passing on it's genes, meaning he doesn't have to step up his game because his strategy is already working. This is just my guess and intuition, talking, I might be wrong.

I never noticed any of these benefits, only the increased thoughts about sex. Couldnt ever get it out of my head. Id see a 6/10 bitch in yoga pants on the street and I would be paralyzed. But I never had more energy or drive or anything like that. I think for most people on nofap its mostly placebo. They get success after not fapping for a few weeks and that makes them feel better, not the actual physical effects. Ive never seen any evidence that it can increase productiveness or anything like that
