I swear, when I was younger like 12, 13 even I was aware of the agepill in sports
I would see my favorite franchise trade for some 33 yr old who was amazing last season but then he falls off and is below average
That can happen to you because of your knee ligments and shit and there’s literally NOTHING you can do, it’s all genetics (besides injuries)
Every single time I see a team even sign like a 29 yr old to a long term deal, 8 times out of 10 it’s a bad contract and he’s only good for like 3 years, look at the NBA or mlb, this shit ALWAYS happens
In baseball it’s even worse because all the money is guaranteed, you cant just cut the contract, if you do you have to pay the money still.
