What is even creativity anyway?
Humans basically still copy others, they are influenced by various sources, the art they were exposed to during their formative years, they add their own life experiences and specific circumstances to this, everything is mixed in their brain and randomized according to their neural patterns - I think even this could be replicated in the future.
For example if you want an AI to generate new stories, you don't train him only on already existing famous literature, you could also train him on real life stories, current events that appear in newspapers, personal journals, forum discussions, etc., and I bet you could obtain some very interesting results.
