Hello!
I have changed my mind regarding eye surgery, because first I would like to resolve my main problem related to my jaw. I have had several consultations with my local maxillofacial surgeon, and he said that I would need to wear braces again and have my teeth decompensated before a double jaw surgery. He believes it does not make sense and instead wants to perform only a genioplasty, which I personally think is pointless, because my upper jaw would still look unaesthetic, as my jaw is downgrown, so this would not fix the issue.
That is why I am writing to you. I have heard from someone that Dr. Burak Sercan may be able to perform double jaw surgery using a surgery-first approach, without wearing braces before the operation, which would be very encouraging for me, with possible use of splints or orthodontic treatment after the surgery. Additionally, I believe he could achieve better aesthetic results.
I have a lateral cephalometric X-ray from 2022, taken before my orthodontic treatment, during which my upper teeth were mainly retracted, and I did not have any extractions. I also have CBCT images from this year but they include only my teeth. I could send them to you here.
Would it be possible for Dr. Burak Sercan to review these images and let me know whether a surgery-first approach would be possible in my case, with orthodontic treatment after surgery, and also provide me with a price range?
