He is saying we will soon have the ability to harness nature however we want. AI will read what humans cannot! It just needs a big ass dataset to play with. The human genome project cost billions to sequence a human genome now the same thing can be done for $100. Still needs to come down a lot more. But this shit is moving RAPIDLY underneath the surface. Btw this is not just about medicine - that's just the start and scratching the surface! The implications beyond this is wayyyy way beyond imagination. It's like investing in the internet in the 1980s. This faggot even talks about self-repairing roads LMAO!

Ditch all your bitcoin, shitcoins, memecoins, ETFs, gold and furniture stocks. If you don't hold companies like CRISPR Therapeutics, Twist Bioscience, Illumina, Beam Therapeutics, 10x genomics, Recursion Pharmaceuticals etc it's totally over for you. I would even say that whore Cathie Wood who is usually in the clouds has got this right. They even have an ETF focused on the genomics revolution (ARKG).

That's low IQ I didn't buy when I heard last year but no surprise it's come down and seems to be yo-yoing between 7-12. There are many other AI-specific biotech companies likes Tempus AI and ABSI, but this one is getting most of the spotlight coz of Nvidia

It’s not up that much but I still made a nice £3k so far. Should have put in more than £10k I guess. This is probably still just the beginning, once the meme money rotates out of quantum and rocket lab the biotech might be the next “disruptive tech” meme stock.

CRISPR is going the best right now because it is a well known name.

Yeah that's what I'm hoping for. Biotech is way more exciting but has had a lost decade, despite progressing. They just get zero interest. The cycle has to end sooner or later because you can't make that much progress for so long, without a rally.

I own CRISPR I'm up 70% on it atm. But there are other gene editting stocks like BEAM, NTLA. Biotech is a zero or 100x game. Once the rally happens I'm selling most off coz it's too risky.

I dont think we are ready for a true biotech revolution or a ChatGPT moment yet. Maybe in 10 years. But I'd like a sustained rally it's the only sector that's being overlooked in the innovation space. Even it's convergence with AI which has insane implications. More than a fucking chat box which is what these LLMs are.

Btc is worth half of everything on earth

Superior monetary properties to everything else

AGI will run on btc (layer 2)
I'm actually a bitcoin maxi. But anyway it's never gonna overtake gold and nor is anything on the internet / possible by computers ever going to challenge the bio-revolution. If you wanna deal with living things and things you thought possible in sci-fi then you need to crack the code of DNA. Bio-revolution will dwarf so-called AI (as we understand it today). It's not just about medicine. Humans created computers they did not create biology.

Contradiction

It's only a 10x away from gold parity

  • More divisible
  • Faster
  • Not heavy, more portable
  • More verifiable
  • Absolute scarcity. Gold you lose half your money every 40yrs (supply doubles)
  • More decentralised
  • Programmable
Every week, a new company buys btc, more ETF inflows, MicroStrategy buys, more pro legislation e.g. now counts as collateral on mortgages in USA, Australia.

Demand is infinite due to infinite money supply
Supply is fixed.

It's going up forever. 1M is bearish

None of that means it's gonna overtake gold. Even if the supply of gold doubled and price halved overnight, it would still be same market cap.

JFL at thinking bitcoin is decentralised.
It being "faster", divisible, programmable has nothing to do with it being a store of value.

It will still remain a safe asset for sure. It should even overcome the quantum threat but they will have to fork it - but that's about the only thing that poses a mortal threat to bitcoin.

JFL at thinking bitcoin is decentralised.
Decentralised means no one controls it. Money will always follow a power law distribution.

There are 200k nodes in the world distributed. The node runners enforce the consensus rules and keep it decentralised and the mining is decentralised enough and the most secure computer network on earth.

Even if the supply of gold doubled and price halved overnight, it would still be same market cap.
Supply and demand is what determines the price.

Whenever there's a headline about an asteroid full of trillions of gold that could crash on earth, if it did it would inflate the supply and it's price would crash.

If gold had a fixed supply its price would be far higher.
It being "faster", divisible, programmable has nothing to do with it being a store of value.

No but it makes it better as money in addition to being store of value which is a greater TAM.

Divisibility makes it accessible to more people in the world and gen z / alpha Vs gold coins.

Faster, divisible, verifiable makes it the pristine collateral instead of a house.

It better than bonds, real estate, equities in terms of risk and leaks. Its returns are better. The rich people with the money want to keep their money, it's as simple as that. It will demontenize other assets and it's TAM will increase.

In Theory it's decentralised in practice it's in the hands of a few large mining pools.
Supply and demand is what determines the price.

I'm not talking about price Im talking about market cap. If gold increases 10% in a month (which it did a while ago), BTC would need to increase 100% to keep up..

The asteroid thing ain't gonna happen. Neither is the quantum threat which literally breaks the internet and sends BTC to 0 if no quantum resistant architecture is implemented.

None of this has anything to do with why it will overtake gold. I've been following bitcoin since 2013, although I never bought any crypto until 2017. BTC has already reached a natural boundary. Even a company like Nvidia can go from 100 billion to 4 trillion (double the value of BTC currently). It's clear as day bitcoin is stabilising.

You are better off chasing an alt. Yes BTC is long term holding you always wanna keep. Same with gold. But saying it will mog gold is cope. It may stay somewhere in between gold and silver

It actually hasn't. Biotech is still up from April. Idk what shitty penny stock biopharma you bought. Earnings season has been shit for bio so far that's why it's been down recently.

Anyway this isn't a short term play. If you wanna swing trade try those names you mentioned. Biotech will have it's say in the sunshine one day.

Twist bioscience obliterated my CRISPR gains.

Not sure how you would swing trade nvidia/Palantir when they literally only go up in a straight line.

CRISPR had a run after a director bought a lot of shares. Did you buy b cause I posted this thread??? :lul::lul::lul:
It's good to swing trade - I've already sold some DNA, Intelle Therapeutics amongst others.

I was gonna listen to Twist Earnings call on Monday but too busy. It's still the top syn bio stonk.

I didn't mean them. But quantum stocks like Rigetti, Dwave, QUBT and IONQ have been all zigzaggy.

When an ENTIRE sub-sector goes up it's red flags tbh.... Look at what happened to EVs, Cannabis, 3D printing.

I still think bio could go up this year and if it gets 'popular' a reality check will happen sooner or later tbh.

It’s a sort of hedge position for me really, if there are some insane advances in biotech I will personally need them from a looksmaxxing perspective so I need to have exposure to these stocks.

I can’t believe such an interesting sector would just go down forever (unless big tech / big pharma are the real bio tech play?)

Tbh the looksmaxxxing ones won't come so easily. Biotech applied to humans for cosmetic reasons wil be last - although they do talk about things like de-aging and hair loss.

It will apply to cancers, drug development, creation of new matierials, energy and also data storage and agriculture - those two are huge areas! 1 gram of DNA can store more data than a data centre size of several football field. I'm sure Nvidia know this yet they're spending billions on new data centers. They've just not scaled the tech.

Potential and applications are huge alongside quantum.

They could easily get bought out by big tech. Or some of these smaller companies could get bought out by bigger pharma like Roche. It's hard to say. Anyway they're not having my CRISPR shares unless they pay $500 per share.

That's especially cope. Humans have always dreamed about cheating the order of nature. The fantasy of the fountain of youth has comes up time and time again, but it's never to be real. Use your time on Earth as you please, but you're not going to get any more of it along the way.
