Alcohol in moisturizer

Do you guys only buy moisturizer without alcohol? What is a good brand? I heard CeraVe has good products...
 
just use aloe vera.

Everybody is talking good about CeraVe moisturizer, but all of their products contain alcohol.
 
Just use peanut butter tbh, really tasty

Yeah, don't buy that shit then. Don't believe any sponsored youtubers or w/e. Anything with alcohol is shit.

If you have sensitive skin perhaps just avoid denatured alcohol/ethanol/ethyl alcohol in the ingredients list. Ethanol is volatile and evaporates quickly and so can dehydrate and possibly irritate the skin.

I personally wouldn't worry too much as the research evidence on alcohol gel doesn't really show any consistent negative effects. And most moisturisers with ethanol in have a very low % and other moisturising ingredients like glycerin to combat dryness.

FYI Other types of alcohol aren't as problematic and can even be beneficial. Cetyl alcohol, for example, is a fatty alcohol that doesn't evaporate much at all and feels oily on your skin.
