I'd say so yeah, back then I was on this place 3-4h a day, easy. I was just younger too. He's still a faggot though.

What would you rate yourself?

~80th percentile, not sure how that translates to the PSL scale. I feel like if there's 10 guys my age in a room, 2 might look better, maybe. But it's always hard with these self-ratings, you know? I'm always reminded of that study where most people rate themselves as above average.

Nothing extreme, nothing particularly insightful. Good advice isn't the hard part, having the humility to take it at face value and follow it is.

GLP-1s were a game changer for me as it pertained to weight loss. Couldn't get the weight off for years- I was never fat. But becoming lean and staying it are hard things to do given the age we live in. GLP-1s allowed me to actually lose weight, without being miserable. They've got tons of other health benefits that are enough a reason to take them as well.

Neck training is something else that's particularly overlooked by most men. If you've already got a thick neck, great, but a lot of men would look better by just training their neck.

IMO it's the most straightforward looksmax you could possibly do, that will meaningfully change your attractiveness. When I finally started training my neck sonsistently and seeing results the only question I had in my mind was: "Why didn't I start this earlier?"

If you've got a somewhat wide face, or strong, wide cheekbones, lower third, etc. training your neck to be about as wide as your widest part of your jaw is such an easy, straightforward looksmax. I don't think the pics do it justice, tbh, it's definitely a noticeable change when looking in...

Lastly, and this one is more philosophical, also theme across my recent threads; priotize taking action over everything else. Any and all looksmaxing I did accomplish came only when I got up off my ass and started doing something, anything.

I understand reading well-written threads can feel productive, but it really isn't. You're still on the starting line.

Practically, this means:
* Considering a particular surgery? Prioritize getting a consultation with an actual doctor over everything else
* Becoming less socially inhibited? Go out on the street and ask the next person you meet for the time.
* Trying to work out some routine (gym, hair, skin, etc)? Stop. Just start doing the thing, anything, consistently. So pick up a weight and start lifting, take the dut and forget about it, and apply sunscreen daily no buts.

We try to optimize too early when we routinely fail at the only thing that matters-- doing it.

The common theme here is being someone with a bias for action.

You don't act recklessly or with zero information, but you're someone who given some minimum viable amount, will go out and do the thing because you understand that's where you actually learn the most.

It's hard to know, you know. Life might have been on a complete different trajectory but that could be good or bad. I think I came out okay, but a lot of time was spent here as opposed to socializing with actual people in the real world. I'm making up for that now.

I'd say I look better than I would if I hadn't found this place, but at the same time I'm not sure if its unbelievably better, I very well could've ended up looking like this otherwise.

All in all, I'm not sure, but I'm glad how my life turned out.

i got lucky, right place, right time, i was already a mod and it just so happened that the NYT dropped an investigate report on both admins at the time - so they gave me the position whilst laying low
