I’m 15 and I started working out on the first of September my split was UL rest then Push pull rest but I’ve switched it to LPPLPP. For more info I also have a very clean diet and I eat around 3000 calories a day, and I keep my sodium intake low and my potassium intake high while cutting out processed junk like chips and I don’t eat added sugar and now it’s January so I’ve been going for almost 5 months however I started at 185 pounds and high body fat however now I’m around 145 yet I don’t look a whole lot leaner besides a little bit more definition in my face, and physique wise I’ve only seen tricep development and little on everything else, any solutions and any thoughts on why I can’t make any gains? I’m also natural and I plan to stay natural however If there are any softmaxxes for this please enlighten me.

I’ve also been eating around 150-170 grams of protein per day while training pretty hard for each muscle group with 9 hours of sleep every night for ideal recovery.

5 months is nothing. Wait a whole year. There are no shortcuts to muscle building at the gym, especially as a natural. You're also a teenager and your hormonal profile is not complete yet. A young male adult of 21 years old will build muscle mass differently.

Does this mean you should give up? No, just set achievable and realistic goals. Focus on other important parts of your life at this age ; school, career, socializing and getting experiences. Gym is secondary, it's here for you to invest in your health long term.
