Please tell me when you first realised that your parents are more than likely only tolerating you, and that family love is a crock of shit and that male friendships are purely transactional. Throw a woman into the mix and you'll see your 'friends' betray you in a heart beat and that women only value a man for what he can do, not for who he is and that unconditional love is an impossibility.

I just wish I accepted these facts when I was a young teenager when I first realised them.

Thanks. I just wish I accepted this fact as a teenager instead. I thought it can't possibly be this toxic the nature of reality governing human relationships. So, I turned inwards and tried to change myself because facing an unchangeable reality was far more brutal.

Even existence is transactional.
