literally just stick with this plan for a long-time and avoid touching your face a lot. don’t eat an insanely bad diet or have a habit of being dehydrated. don’t listen to those spreading appeal to nature fallacy or saying moisturiser is useless. all just anecdotes. anyways, my science-backed routine ⬇️

morning
• cleanser - gentle, non stripping, PH 5-6
• azelaic acid (10-15%)
• barrier support moisturiser (ceramides, fatty acids)
• any spf++ - non negotiable

night
• cleanser - gentle, non stripping, PH 5-6
• tretinoin - work up through (0.025%-0.05%-0.1%), apply pea-sized amount, apply small amounts of moisturiser before and after if you are getting irritated
• small amount of moisturiser (optional)

yeah you could but some might think it’s overkill if you don’t suffer from bad acne. also, you are more likely to notice some side effects but it’s definitely still an option

cleansers and moisturizers won't help with hormonal acne or acne that comes from shit diet. just do low dose accutane for a while and you're set.
