I'm so sorry to hear that. I can relate a bit because when my best friend in HS got a gf, he didn't have time to hangout on holidays anymore bcuz he was going out with her, texted her all night so he replied like a day later to my messages and shi. The girl was extremely toxic, and she literally drained all life from him tbh, you can just see it in his eyes. Glad they broke up and never got back together in the nicest way.
If I do ever get a gf, I'll try to avoid being what I hate.
