We have around 500 active members. Member will join at a slower rate, and only truly interested members will join, instead of some kid making one post in rate me and then never using the forum again, which means the userbase will form a closer bond and the forum will have a tight knit where (almost) every active user knows eachother. Community activity will only slow down in rate me and looksmaxxing. It will stay the same or even increase in the off topic section

That's a great way for even more low quality posters just trying to reach that 500 mark.

I believe this forum should not be private at all. If it goes private, you'll just have outsiders sign up for accounts instead. The mods won't be able to keep up with the increase, and it will result in unwanted people being given an account.
