it does work its literally proven but you would have to put so much effort, time and pressure into it therefore there is no point.
Especially when you can just get an expander to do it for you which wont cause any asymmetries either.

The half jeet+ everyone on r/thumbpullingx said about 5 min of thumbpulling everyday is more than enough. And by chin tucking you can apply equal pressure so no chance for asymmetry. The problem with palatal expander(what I think) is that it won't provide upward stimulus for growth, it will just widen the palate
