According to some people I see on the forum, being 5'10 is like below average man, I searched on google and I was told I was about an inch above my age mates, though I'm taller than 75-80% of my classmates in my high school, (it being a mostly female school and the guys there being 5'5-5'8), will my height negatively affect my dating/social life? and if not, will it be affected more once I go out to the real world?

(Don't say smth dumb like the average 16 year old is 6'8 or something and that it's over for me.)

I am 16 and am 6,1 and have been to three different countries where I’ve gone to school there them being America, United Kingdom, and Canada and I cannot comment on the dating life question I can however tell you that being 5,10 is good for 16 as your most likely to carry on growing as time passes. How tall the average 16yr old greatly depends on where you live as from my experience America and Canada has a much shorter average at 16 (around 5,8) than the school I went to in the UK which was more around 5,9 5,10. So don’t overthink it bro you’ve got plenty more years of growing and 5,10 is better then most at 16.

It’s pretty average. JFL at believing these idiots with their anecdotal stories instead of actual science-based data
„But where I live the average men is at least 6‘4“
