Am i coping or is it really possible to be content alone?

I used to get really depressed about my looks and the fact I'll probably be a KHHV forever unless I want to lower my standards to oblivion. I've just gotten used to it tbh, like it would definitely be nice to have a gf but honestly it's just an afterthought recently.

been the happiest ive ever been recently despite technically being the lonliest ive ever been in a while. Is this temporary or do people really overrate how good relationships are? Maybe it's more brutal for people who got a gf once and cant get another one, idk though.

yeah it's temporary. you've gotten used to the loneliness and the stress & urgency of finding a girlfriend has sort of subsided due to it

i'd compare it to hyperthermia: you temporary get 'used to the cold' and you start to think you're warm
