You have misunderstood what nirvana is. The goal of nirvana is to attain union with universal consciousness which can be called the ultimate fulfillment. A degenerate slave who lives a worldly life is only fulfilled in terms of the worldly things like money, sex, food, drugs etc. but spiritually he is still starving.

I kind of agree with you. I dont really think theres a soul but i think we have an interconnectedness with nature and even when we die we still help fuel life after us by becoming part of the earth

Yeah I don't deny that we are confined to our vessel, which is the body. That's why we are wired in a way where our primary drive is survival. But if consciousness is only chemistry, then where does it arise from? All you will get is chemical reactions. Souls exist. Animals have souls. Plants have souls.
