How come your ‘ministers’ are random businessmen etc appointed by the President? In the UK, ministers are always elected members of parliament from the governing party.

Well the president appoints them but they have to be voted on and approved by the senate. I think they have to get more than a 50% vote in the senate

Yeah it would be more democratic that way, I think the idea with the president was to give him the ability to appoint people directly because if the house and senate had to vote it would take a very long time and the president could end up without essential cabinet members for a long time.
