- Estrogen doesn't bloat like that, otherwise oral contraceptives wouldn't increase sodium excretion, plasma renin wouldn't decrease in women who undergo estrogen treatment and estrogen wouldn't decrease plasma renin concentration, ACE activity and ALDO's response to Ang II and everyone using AIs would debloat. E2 only really fucks your shit up when it's far too high, hence the dbol water balloons that show up every now and then
- Testosterone doesn't inhibit 11b HSD 2 that much. If it did, it would make folks as aggro as Halotestin does (Fluoxymesterone is a strong 11b HSD 2 inhibitor and that's where the aggressiveness comes from).
But even if it did allat, ENaC blockade would still debloat because whatever the reason, ENaC expression goes up when pinning T. Interestingly enough, mice that were given testosterone + finasteride had less ENaC expression than mice that were only given test, suggesting the very useful hormone DHT also plays a role in bloating testosterone users.
Finasteride inhibits type 1 and 2 5ar in mice, meaning you must take Dutasteride to guarantee DHT won't fuck you over.
