How it makes people act in real life. The constant insults and bickering has caused the current divide that we see in the modern USA, along with the increase in petty violence and acting out. Originally it was only literal basement dwellers who were online all the time, but now that pretty much everyone uses social media, peoples attitudes and mental states are a thousand times worse.
