I genuinely believe anime was introduced to the west by our elite overlords to hijack the neurodivergent psychology and ultimately destroy us. East Asian culture / tendencies, when translated into our Western society, has an extreme appeal to autists because of the way they relate to it (collective unconscious) causing them to latch onto this foreign culture and alienate themselves further from their own, leading to isolation and eventually a total detachment from reality. If social media is the pacifier of the masses, anime is the pacifier designed to keep autists down. Anime will always be an inherently ND medium, just look at the most dedicated consumers of it, the tropes, customs, and subliminal messaging is like crack to them because of how it appeals to the autist psyche. If you’re ND I firmly recommend you stick to European and western forms of entertainment to keep your unconscious clean.
