"From what i've read over the years is that when Elvis went to Hollywood they gave his face numerous chemical peels becouse of his very bad acne and the scars from them becouse Elvis had severe acne as a teen and into his twenties, i'm sure you have seen those photos before. The acne had left his face with small holes that he hated and he tried everything to have them shrunken but it never worked, you can see those small holes in his face when you look at very clear photos that have not been retouched"
