It should, but it is not alwas the case. There is a thing called post finasteride syndrom. This probably rather rare disorder can last for months or even years after stopping the medication; in many cases it remains permanent

Fin blocks the enzyme that converts testosterone into dht ( dht is the main reason for hairloss ). So the because your testosterone can’t convert to dht it increases.

People born without the enzyme are more built than others due to an increase in testosterone and have less hairloss.
