NAD Boosters: Promising in Mice for Anti-Aging and Alzheimer's, but Not Yet Ready for Prime-time
There has been recent optimism—and possibly hype—over so-called NAD boosters. Kaiser Health News (KHN) recently reported on Harvard University researcher David Sinclair, who is taking his own research product, a supplement that boosts nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD), a cofactor found in all…
As we age our dna becomes less protected as the telomeres shorten, exposing more nucleotides to the elements. Aging is cellular deaththat you can visually perceive but at the cellular level it’s even more harrowing. Basic atp synthesis becomes near impossible, cell signaling degrades, the entire productivity of the cell is gone. But we already have a solution. NAD+. It regenerates telomeres in mice and will in humans as well, not just slowing the process of aging but REVERSING It. The mice showed dna repair and muscle tissue regained its former vitality so much that they were biologically indistinguishable from the younger mice. We have the fountain of youth, buy it now while it’s relatively cheap.
