The thing is the longer we can survive, the better the technology will improve. If we can survive till 2150 we might even be able to seriously consider getting a mind upload.

Sounds the same as "we will have flying cars in 2023"
turns out we do and they work pretty well. The problem is now getting routes for them online.
Havent seen anyone just casually driving a flying car on a casual tuesday on their way to work tho
You can in the country side if you are not in any major airspace.
A flying car is literally a big drone. Its going to be a while until these things become widely available. also how many people you know who own an airline or a helicopter? How many of the people u know own such a "car" (not even a car more like a drone) and have it parked in their garage?
No one i know owns a helicopter, which proves my point about flying cars even more: if regular ppl dont own helicopters that have been around for so many decades and they are a lot mor common, they are definitely not going to own flying carsA flying car is literally a big drone. people dont own jets yet we use jets regularly. Irl flying cars are going to work as mini airlines between cities. No one i know owns a helicopter, which proves my point about flying cars even more: if regular ppl dont own helicopters that have been around for so many decades and they are a lot mor common, they are definitely not going to own flying cars
My theory is that anti-aging technology won't be a one size fits all breakthrough but rather a slow accumulation of medical procedures that can extend the lifespan.E5 which the mainstream doesnt like to talk about much (though Sinclair has mentioned it) appears to reverse age in rats anyway quite a bit giving a crazy healthspan. It doesn't make them live past the maximum lifespan though. There seems to be some master switch or something that overrides things even if you make the body way younger for its age.
