Antibiotics for acne

I was at the doctors a couple days ago and my doctor prescribed me some antibiotic pills and a cream for my acne. He said that its likely to work but if it doesnt then we’ll try accutane in 3 months.

Should i take the antibiotics or leave them and pretend it doesnt work for accutane.

There is no way for me to get accutane without a prescription btw.

I get what you mean but a friend of mine was really fucked physically by accutane even years after taking it, at a quite low dose.

MUCH better than accutane especially side-effect wise. I really wish I had taken that instead, now it's too late and I'm too old

Yea but it doesnt work all that well against acne compared to accutane and also it doesnt do anything for blackheads

I don't know for certain but it was the only med he was taking, at least that's what he told me. And I think those are reported side-effects too? I'm not against this medication at all, I just think it's better to take low dosage over a long time vs. high dosage over short time.

I was on antibiotics, doxycycline, didn't do shit. just made me throw up violently almost daily.
Just go straight to Accutane

Turns out my testosterone is too high for my acne. Nothing I can do about it unless I wanna lower my test with drugs.
You should get your test levels checked, maybe the same thing is happening to you. Free test I guess
