Any downsides to leanmaxxing?

There really aren’t any downsides unless you have genuinely shit bone structure which is better off hidden with fat imo

I'm pretty fat right now to be honest, around %18 bodyfat, and about a year ago I had a BMI of 17 and was super low bodyfat. Im also a gymcell so a BMI of 17 on me is dangerously low bf, I stopped absorbing calories and nutrition and lost all my muscle. Overdoing it can definitely have some serious consequences. When i'm fatter, my eye area is great, but when i lose that weight the hooding goes away slightly, probably not that noticeable to someone on the street, but noticeable to me. But before the malnutrition stage, I was like a god. unless you are lean enough that you start losing muscle, it is totally fine, everybody says low t comes from low bf, but in reality, low BF raises T. it is a misinterpreted statistic about being like sub 9% for extended periods of time. You can be lean and not worry about a single thing, in fact its better for you. It's when you get disgustingly peeled that things start to go south.
