Hey,
I have mild rosacea and it has quite a lot of those tiny veins. I'm considering it removed with a laser. I know mild redness is ideal. However, it's mild only in winter. In summer, after eating shit food, doing any cardio, or after drinking alcohol, it's really red and looks disgusting. I'm considering it to get perfect skin, it's only thing holding me back.
Has anybody tried it? Considering it's quite uncommon in our age group.

i have rosacea too.

The things that have helped me the most so far were soolantra & adapalene (both prescription only)

IPL or Laser seem very promising and they're even used for rosacea of the eye (ocular rosacea). I would definitely give it a try.

I have been using Soolantra every day for like year maybe, however, it doesn't help a lot, it only makes it milder.
Are you using it together? I'm going to ask my derm if she recommends laser and adapalene as you suggested.
I'm mainly considering the vein laser (that one they usually using on old women, forgot the name sorry)

I have done Yellowlaser (1 session) and KTP (3 sessions). Yellowlaser did nothing but make it worse for a month. KTP gave me some promising results but was too expensive, so I switched to a different dermatologist who had an even better and newer model (Lutronic Derma-V) and was a bit cheaper. I only did one test run with the Derma V but the results and downtime were superb. On Wednesday, I have my next appointment scheduled (full face and full force). Will keep you posted.

IPL is useless and has more side effects than real lasers and normally topicals like metronidazole and soolantra don't do jack shit against veins. Some studies suggest that tranexamic acid and beta blockers could help but I personally have not seen big improvements with it.

adapalene and laser at the same time may be a bit overkill since adapalene being a retinoid makes the skin more sensitive. But your derm knows best.

I just cope with cream that hides them, can’t afford laser now

Okay, it seems promising. But don’t you know what type of laser Lutronic Derma-V is? I can’t find any clinic with it in my country.
If you don’t have time to post full thread on result. Will you please inform me to DM or here in thread? I’m going to my derm in Friday, so I would like to know if it’s REALLY worth it. Thanks

Derma V is a KTP laser (wavelength 532nm) as well. VBeam is also a good vascular laser but works a bit differently (Pulse dye laser) and has longer downtime.
It takes approximately 3 weeks to see good results after KTP laser; the skin needs to heal, the vessels need to be absorbed etc. So I can't really tell you on Friday if it worked or not, it would be too early.
You will need 2-4 sessions anyway, depending on severity. One session won't cut it. But in general: Lasers are safe and effective and if you have a GOOD AND EXPERIENCED provider, then I would do it asap my g.
And also give me some rep buddyboyo, I'm not doing this for free.

Thankfully my derm is like a family friend, so it's all good. However, that means I can't ask her real looksmaxxing shit to not sound gay.
But I'm getting a new private derm in my uni city so hopefully I'm gonna get the botox to lower my eyebrows as clav did (the starve maxxing kinda fucked my eye area, bigger uue)
