Look, i wanna be strong, also build muscle to have a good body but i also wanna be fast and flexible for MMA.
Its kind of hard to mix bodybuilding and MMA together tho.
Anyone got a good program?

Professional fighters used to inject all kinds of stuff before USADA came along and were as dangerous as fighters can be. Look at pre-USADA Brocks and Overeems and tell me they weren't lifting for hypertrophy. They are heavyweights, though, but even in lighter weight classes I wouldn't bother with cutting unless I'm going pro

Okay, if i just do a standard 3x per week gym (strength and hypertrophy training) session and 3x per week mma class is that fine?

inderdaad gozer.
en asian chicks zijn heel overrated
Asian chicks zijn mijn lifefuel, geen asian chick = zelfmoord.

But it’s not that hard to combine fighting and bodybuilding.
Bodybuilding 3x a week
Fighting 2x a week
Eat in calorie surplus and you gain muscle

I prefer doing 2x a week full-body and then sprinkle some grappling on top. Training 6 times a week would be too much for me even if I were willing to make time, but I'm not 16 y.o. either. Also, burnout could be an issue at this intensity. 2x gym 2x MMA sounds way better. You could honestly get a class of MMA a week and still be able to kick almost anyone's ass if you're a welterweight or above

Hm, okay.
so if i do a basic 2x per week full body gym session (benchpress, barbell rows, squats, deadlift for example, all meant for hypertrophy and strength) and then a solid 2x per week MMA class that its good?

Bro just build muscle, it will make you slower but stronger, so that’s fair. It’s no surprise that flyweights punch faster than heavyweights:soy: But a Ngannou would still murder a Demetrius Johnson eventhough he punches faster. I went two weightclasses up (mma) and noticed that I got a bit slower and gas out faster, but in the trade of my punches gotmore powerful, and you shouldn’t get that much slower anyways. Try doing free weight excercises to build Muscles (helped me immensely with my wrestling) Pm me if u want my training plan that I used in the gym to gaining muscle while going a weightclass up

Ze zijn cute inderdaad maar ik zou niet kinderen hebben met hun. Im talking about subjective beauty, like their face. Yes their cute but technically they are not beautiful (in PSL terms). Their flat fucking face will ruin your childrens face and their short as fuck.
Maar ik zou me tollie zeker in hun stoppen!

what height are you, what do you specialise in

I’m 6ft4 90kg and compete for my uni MMA, specialty is kickboxing. You can get speed through plyometrics. get some high rep work in too.

bear in mind that it’s near impossible to get the speed of someone 10kg lighter than you.

if you’re a newbie then just work on boxing IQ tbh, that’s how I win most of my fights.

Alright, yea fhats true but us giants have more power. Their fast but they need a solid 10 punches on the head to knock us out. We only need 1

who’s “they”

are you training to compete or just to kill niggas in street fights

if you wanna win street fights just get them on the ground and armbar until you get a nice snap

if you want to compete then bear in mind the other guy can hit you just as hard…

also spam zercher squats for insane suplex strength. i wish i started doing this earlier

Can u give me ur program in PMS? Im interested in ur workouts.
Btw i just take MMA classes haha. I wanna know how to fight. I have no idea how to do an armbar know. Im sure my coach will teach me one day tho

just follow a routine and join a gym with coach alot of this is dependent on your response.
A lot of the fighters also use gear.

Of course it is. Have you had any experience training either of those? 2 times a week of gym is plenty if you're doing full body. Both for aesthetics and strength. Gym also improves your stamina during an exchange contrary to a belief some people hold and parrot around

armbar is very basic BJJ technique, they’ll drill it soon i’m sure.

i do train somewhat for hypertrophy but i try to remain below 93kg for weight class

ibr i don’t have some crazy scienced routine, I just follow PPL twice a week, spam stairmaster, HIIT, swim and sauna. i can screenshot my set tracker app if you want but the routine is mostly from memory

the advice we give to newbies is to high intensity 3-5 min sessions on the cardio machines until complete exhaustion so that they can get a feel for fighting rounds

feel free to PM me if you want any more info

Same 4x gym and 3x MMA
It doesn't take away from gains if you eat to compensate. Plus I can get away with 1 leg day and no core/cardio in gym, because I'm getting all of that in MMA
