Any hair tips

I have wavy hair when the length is moderate and curly hair when I grow it out but it’s super frizzy and if I use products i get a lot of buildup. I usually get a low drop fade or a low burst. Product recs appreciated

I got a drop fade about 2.5 months ago should I just stick to mullets instead when I do get mullets it looks good at the start but gets really blocky
