I'm trying to understand how moisturizers work, but the ceramides part seem difficult understand.
Any high iq guy can tell me why there is ceramide on moisturizers but not cholesterol and fatty acids?

Because for the most part ceramides in moisturisers are a marketing scam not designed to provide any benefit.
