This Dr from turkey quoted me Genioplasty for €3290 + pre orbital fat grafting for €900. That seems outrageously cheap in 2023, I thought the avg price for genio was €6000 and pre orbital fat grating would be around €1500

Yes! He did my first chin implant and fat grafting (I don’t think he does bone augmentation genioplasty). Would recommend, he and his team are very good.

You’re an idiot.
1. He’s talking about a chin implant.
2. The Turks are world leaders in facial surgery and even have more face transplants than any other country. You’re also able to view the results of these surgeons on Instagram in a way that western surgeons don’t.

I was talking with his assistant, all i did was send my front and side with my intention of having a more square chin and slight horizontal and vertical adjustment and they said they can do genioplasty for me and quoted me the price which seems way too cheap?sounds promosing since your procedures went well but the pricing is throwing me off since its almost half the price i was expecting for both procedures

Maybe if I can find them. I posted them on Realself too.

Yeah it’s surprising that it’s still so cheap. I paid €2800 for the same thing back in 2020. I think the Turkish government increased the tax that foreigners have to pay.

Yeah these are the pics I made years ago. To be clear, when they say “genioplasty” they’re talking about chin implants. He’s going to give you a list of sizes to choose from, I chose the large.

If you can avoid it, I definitely recommend against getting a bone manipulation genioplasty (it was my first surgery done by a very prestigious surgeon in the UK. It was botched, asymmetrical, expensive and impossible to revise without an implant).

I’m not sure exactly how it works but he uses a method where its fixed in place with scar tissue, no screws.

I got it changed later because I got a trimax, also in Istanbul for €8000. During this surgery, the Maxfacs surgeon removed the chin implant, shaved my chin off entirely, replaced it with a screwed implant.

Hey bro, do you have a contact of someone in Istanbul who does infraorbital-malar cheek implants?
Maybe those guys you did trimax with?

Yes he’s a professor of plastic surgery and he’s relatively expensive.
He did my Buccal fat removal and ear pinning for €4300
Gürkan Kayabaşoğlu

My trimax guy is Professor Dr Altan Varol
His Instagram stories speak for themselves.

I don’t think he’s taking so many cosmetic cases anymore. He’s really proud of his work and was telling me about how cosmetic work makes him depressed and unfulfilled. Definitely one of the best in the world IMO.

I had the silicone implant for 2 years and I was able to see a slight indent on the CT from where it was sitting.
also did you really need a trimax?
Yes, definitely. I agree I had a really good side profile but my face was far too short from the front. I had a very bad shirt face syndrome and needed maxillary downgrafting + clockwise rotation. It was a very complicated surgery.

When you take your CT to a jaw surgeon, they load it into this Maxfacs software which tells you how far your various ratios and measurements differ from the average population. There are like 20 of them. I think something like five of mine were green, five were orange and ten were red.
The software then spits out a surgical plan to give you the “ideal” face.

This was the start of mine but he ended up chopping my chin off entirely because the first surgeon in London botched it so bad.
My total change in projection, down and forward was 22mm.
