I wanna fuck one of your women plz. They look so good, I'm even willing to accept their grave worshipping, self-slapping/whipping practices.

I feel like 99% of the Iranian diaspora are basically atheists, agnostic or even Christian anyway. The shahs must've went even further than Atatürk in their self-hatred of their Islamic heritage. No wonder you got Ayatollahs in government now JFL.

I feel like the only Iranians that are truly irreligious are those from Tehran. They can't all be unislamic.

Yeah they are irreligious in Tehran - capital of nosejobs. Probably blowjobs too...

But most of the ones in UK fled the revolution. Hardly any of them identify as Muslim. At least the irreligious ones in Iran still call themselves Muslims and show some affinity with other Muslims.

They probably agree with me.

I'll reply to your PM tomorrow btw. Too smashed out my face today. Hence why I'm shitposting

Yeah because of mass secularisation. In fact it was the Turks and Iranians who basically built Islamic civilisation not the Arab

But many Arabs even today are just as religious if not more than south Asians. Unless you're talking about Meghrebis or Lebenese.

I don't believe that. If I literally believed that god exist and there's heaven and all that, I wouldn't bring myself to give a fuck about anything else because nothing comes close to this in the slightest. I guess you just half ass believe so you say ''Well I gotta live my life too''

I'm exaggerating obviously. But diaspora are very secular which isn't surprising tbh. Iran was always a secular society but like Turkey.

I'm similar tbh 😢

I wouldn't say I don't follow any. I don't pray 5x a day if that's what you mean. I'm more of a Friday Muslim lmao. I do take a very deep mystical and political interest in it.

Tbh religious practice wasn't always as much as people make it out even less today because of all the difficulties of modern life. Even a hardcore salafi like al-Albani said religious practice weren't high even centuries ago. Many people just abide by it's ethics (no pork, alcohol) and can't always be bothered with it's practices - this includes secular Muslims.

My older hijab wearing sister barely prays haha

Thats not true at all. The arabs had big contribution Islamic golden age. It would not be even called islamic golden age if it was not arabs.

It was very religious when Saash was getting his ass kicked but Islamic government made them seculars because how shitty they treat their own people. Same is happening in IRaq. Secularism is caused by bad governance in name of Islam. Saudis people lover their islamic leaders because they care about their country.

Yes they did but outshined by Persians in that regard. Unless you're talking about Spain. The most important scholars in Sunni Islam are Persian JFL.

Turks were more dumb didn't produce thinkers - same story today. They were just good at fighting and conquering places - unlike today.

Most of the scholar I see are Arab from Iraq and some are from persia. Musa al-Khwarizmi was also influenced by abu kamil who was egyptian mathematician. All Islamic world where contributing in golden age.

I agree you can't force people to be religious. After 40 years of government the average women still doesn't wanna wear a hijab.

Religious beliefs starts at the basic unit of society with the individual and family. Muslim brotherhood did great job in Egypt despite the country on its way to following Turkey under the Arab baathists. More people wear hijabs now than they did in the 50s.

Government's should act within Islamic principles but they shouldn't force people to pray or dress a certain way. That being said they shouldn't allow degeneracy or atheism for that matter as that is destructive to society.

Saudis people lover their islamic leaders because they care about their country.
I disagree - they've just left people alone. Throughout their history they've been self serving tyrants and selling out Muslim world. MBS policies have reformed some stuff but his liberalisation policies are retarded. The ulema in Saudi (who I don't personally like but that's another convo) has been forcefully kept silent and just grant anything he does.

I doubt that but whatever good for you. Anyways religion and governments should always be separate, even hardcore sunnis that advocate for a sharia law based gov would fucking hate that shit if it actually took place.

I'm not saying it's good nor bad but don't stereotype everyone as dravidian-looking.

The only government I see as legitimate is a caliphate. And in modern times it's probably not what you'd think it is - it's not even equivalent to a state unless you're thinking about ISIS.

Keeping religion out of politics is cope. Religion and politics have always been together prior to the modern secular age and unlike westoids Muslim world has something to be proud about it's political history. In fact it's secularism which has been always accompanied by authoritarianism. Islamism has always been repressed and what happens is you get the fringe (salafi-jihadi) elements get all the unwarranted attention. In fact it's secular leaders who create these people.

Didn't your own government under the Shahs ban turbans at one stage so 'westerners wouldn't laugh at us' JFL :lul:

I don't like the Ayatollah either tbh. But don't swap a reactionary conservatism for degenerate secularism.

When you say 'again' I don't think even the Shah's son want to repress the religious so that they can be more "civilised" like banning hijabs and turbans.
