Any of you had basic surgeries in the US and lower cost locations like Turkey?like rhino cantho, HT etc...why tf is it 5x more expensive in the US...

....still i dont trust these 3rd world countries, becuase they'll see me as a gringo and jsut take my money lol...but why tf does Eppley charge like 10k$ for every single small shit also every surgery here costs like 20k$ wtf?
Also i need septorhino, what are the best options in the US? somebody quoted me 15.000 $
how was your experience in the US vs Turkey/ other 3rd world countries, for those that had surgeries in both?

everyone knows the US is very expensive for getting surgery

You don’t need to go as extreme as turkey though im you can go to other first one countries like Italy or spain which have many surgeons who are very skilled

I’m getting septo rhino done in the UK soon for 7.5k - not as cheap as turkey but much better than the US- this is actually one of the most expensive/experienced surgeons here

Also FYI I don’t think Eppley is a good surgeon at all and I never feel confident in surgeons who offer 100 different procedures cos they won’t be specialised in wagc one.

The guy I’m going to does exclusively noses and has done for 20+ yeaes. This made me feel confident I have a better chance of a good result vs someone less experienced

It comes down ultimately to the individual surgeon you choose rather than the country.

Like cmon you really think all surgeons in one country just have bad aesthetic eye and in another country theyre all good?

Obviously the standards in the hospitals in terms of cleanliness will vary a bit but for stuff like a rhino youd have to be really unlikely to get a health complciation so the main thing it comes down to is the aesthetic eye and experince of that inidivual surgeon who you pick.

Also do bare in mind getting your surgey done somehwere w avery long way away will incurr significant travel costs and also make aftercare and consultations more difficult (always better to have your first consultation face to face imo)
