Any reason to not get a palate expander?

i want one, ive read that the mandible wont follow the maxilla buit ive also read that the mandible will follow the maxilla, i could get a really nice wide palate for my palate is already quite good

Look palate expander before and after , alway 0,001 psl + . If your palate isnt narrow asf it will not ascend you. You are going to breath better and have better smile . FME would be the real shit. Still if you can get it for free take it give rep

there are none (besides a small tooth gap that is easily fixable with braces)
it will always make your smile and jaw wider and make you look better
just be sure to do it with an orthodontist that can advice your progress

Everybody get some level of assymetry with any bone borne expander except FME because it is specificly designed to do symetrical expansion
