Gta 4 has a better open world and it came out almost a generation before Cyberpunk 2077 did.
Video games have stagnated. Graphics might have improved but gameplay has barely evolved over the last decade.

Walking Dead Season 1 Tell Tale is a good story game.

Looks pretty but the protagonist V is a dislikable shithead. Keanu Reeves is overrated and the supporting characters aren't believable or likeable imo.
Interaction with the open world is very limited and gameplay and AI isn't even on a par with 2008 GTA IV.

Fair enough. To each his own. But CD Projekt Red underdelivered. We were promised a complex RPG and got a mediocre sandbox.
It still nowhere near as good as the E3 demo.

The bottleneck of modern games seems to be the developers- not the technology- at the moment.
The whole nature of the industry has changed.
Developers are now massive public companies with demanding investors who want quick returns.
It's fucked development big time.

KCD 2 is good but overrated too. So many missions are just walking across the map talking to people. I remember one side mission where I spent 10 minutes following a guy through the city. Why?
